Environmental sustainability is important to us at Trace Uganda because we recognize that earth needs to be protected for the next generation. Uganda suffers from deforestation, both due to the sale of wood and to larger agricultural projects. Charcoal is also a very common form of cooking fuel, which contributes to both deforestation, erosion, and climate change.

Tree planting

We educate street children on the importance of the environment and maintaining it for the future.  The children are further engaged by planting trees in their nearby environment.
